Flying things that sting will seek out any open sweet soft drink. Crawfish don’t seem to appreciate chicken on the same level we do. And, when traveling through elephant country, it’s best to leave citrus behind.

Baboons and monkeys know how to manipulate all manner of objects, up to and including a sliding door, if there’s a shot at acquiring a sugary concoction or upending a carton of eggs in the service of chaos an attempt will be made. Should they feel extra surly, perhaps after being thwarted, they don’t mind teasing well-meaning dogs to keep you, by way of barking, awake.

But it’s the ostensibly “civilized” creatures, of our own species, that you’ll encounter who are cause for the most concern and whom you’ll most likely have to contend with.
